Who is this Woman?
I have been asking myself, Who Is This Woman?
She’s more confident. She’s learning to love and prioritize herself. She’s deepening her relationship with God. My God, who is this woman? She’s different—such a powerhouse, a leader that others aspire to emulate. She’s holding her head high and truly stepping into the role God has destined for her. SHE IS ME… Norrie Yavonne. Let’s dive into an update on my Path to Purpose!
Listen, growth is something else. It can happen willingly or forcefully—your choice! For me, it’s been a mix of both. I willingly embraced the idea of growth, but sometimes I wasn’t growing fast enough, and God had to step in and speed things up. You know, when God has a plan for you, there’s no escaping it. It’ll catch up to you and make it impossible to avoid. So, what did I do? Girl, I stopped running! I started giving everything to God, letting Him lead the way. Was it hard? ABSOLUTELY! As humans, we love to control everything, and when we feel like we’re losing control, it can feel like our world is falling apart.
But here’s what I’ve learned: growth is a journey. It’s unfamiliar, sometimes scary, and it comes with the good, the bad, and the ugly. I’ve found myself doing things I never imagined. I’ve been growing mentally, spiritually, and in ways I never thought possible. I truly believe I’m stepping into the purpose God created for me.
This journey hasn’t been easy. God has been placing me in situations that stretch me, but you know what? I kinda like it. Sis, really—who is this woman I’m becoming? I’m excited for what’s ahead, but I won’t lie—it’s scary. Sometimes I feel like I’m trying to fill shoes that are way too big for me. But then I remind myself: God makes no mistakes. I am prepared for this destiny. God knew exactly what He was doing when He created me.
This new woman will continue to lean on Him, love herself more, prioritize her needs, and become the business mogul, the advocate for women, and the Kingdom builder she’s meant to be. Sis, I ask you: Who are you? Are you growing so much that you’re becoming a new version of yourself? Are you constantly learning and evolving? We should always be in a state of growth. How often do you ask yourself, “Who is this woman?” It should be often because you are continuously evolving into the woman you are destined to be.
As for me, this woman… SHE IS ME, and I AM SHE! I will keep growing in my walk with God and allow Him to use me to connect and empower other women. Until next time, Sis—go be POWERFUL ON PURPOSE!
